The Duotank Inliner

The inliner is a bag specially developed to keep oxygen away from the beer. The special food-safe LDPE film, combined with an EVOH barrier, ensures that the beer does not absorb oxygen from outside.

In addition, the bag-in-tank system has the advantage that the tank itself does not become contaminated and therefore does not need to be cleaned with chemicals. After use, the inliner can easily be replaced with a new one, and the used inliner can be offered for recycling.

Duotank Inliner Recycling Program

Together with Circular Plastic Alliance, Duotank has developed a unique recycling program in which we separate the beer residue from the bag, allowing us to produce granulate that can be reused within the industry.

The costs, compared to the standard LDPE processing method, are virtually neutral.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Inliners

What material is the inliner made of?

The inliners are made of LLDPE material. This material is specially certified for preserving food and beverages. An oxygen barrier called EVOH has been added to the LLDPE to keep oxygen out.

How often do I need to change the inliner?

The inliner is generally replaced when it is empty and you are going to refill the tank with beer.

Do the dimensions of the inliner need to match the dimensions of the tank?

Each type of tank has its own inliner. This inliner is tailored to the specific volume, diameter, and connection of the tank. By matching these elements correctly, the inliners fit perfectly and a beer tank can be filled optimally.

The use of a wrong inliner can lead to potential leaking.

How long does it take to change an inliner?

Replacing the inliner, including reconnecting the tank, takes approximately 2 minutes.

How much does an inliner cost?

The price of an inliner ranges from €15 to €22, depending on the size, type of connection, and order quantity.
